Queensland ARMS FAIRS
ARMS FAIRS AROUND AUSTRALIA
Australia has a long and active history of arms, militaria and collectables fairs, with events held in every state throughout the year. These fairs bring together collectors, licensed dealers, historians, sporting shooters, hunters and militaria enthusiasts — all united by an interest in responsible collecting, preservation and education.
Across the country, arms fairs range from large multi‑day exhibitions in major cities to smaller regional shows run by local clubs and historical societies. Queensland hosts some of the busiest events, including fairs at Beenleigh, Maryborough, Toowoomba, Gympie and Ipswich. New South Wales features long‑running shows in Bathurst and the Hunter Valley, while Victoria offers major collectables and militaria expos in Shepparton, Ballarat, Bendigo and Seymour. South Australia’s well‑known Port Adelaide fairs at Hart’s Mill attract strong attendance, and Western Australia hosts regular events at the Cannington Exhibition Centre. Tasmania also holds annual militaria and heritage fairs at the Deloraine Showgrounds.
